The Honourable Steve Crocker, Minister of Transportation and Works, will speak at a Business-to-Business Networking Event regarding the construction of the new adult mental health and addictions hospital Monday, November 4.

The event, co-hosted by the Newfoundland and Labrador Construction Association (NLCA) and the Department of Transportation and Works, will take place at the Holiday Inn St. John’s Conference Centre, 180 Portugal Cove Road.

Introductory remarks are scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. Minister Crocker and NLCA board chair James Loder will be available to media immediately afterward.

At the event, NLCA members throughout the province will showcase their products and services during private meetings with the three teams of companies—Atlantic Healthcare Group, Avalon Healthcare Partnership, and NL Healthcare Partnership—competing to design, build, finance and maintain the new adult mental health and addictions hospital.
