Beginning Monday, July 22, westbound traffic on the Trans-Canada Highway, west of Avondale Access Road ramps, will be temporarily diverted across the median as culverts are replaced in the area. As a result, four lanes of traffic will be reduced to two lanes. When work on the westbound lanes is completed, the contractor will begin replacing culverts in the eastbound lanes.

This work is anticipated to be completed in four weeks.

Signs and traffic control measures will be in place to direct travellers. Motorists are asked to reduce their speed, watch for crews working in the area, pay attention to traffic control, and expect minor traffic delays.
