Motorists heading toward the downtown area of St. John’s on Pitts Memorial Drive are advised that the C.N. Viaduct overpass above Water Street will be temporarily reduced to one lane as asphalt repairs are completed.

The temporary lane closure is scheduled to be in place from 9:00 a.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, February 5) until 6:00 a.m. the following day. The outside lane will be closed.

Motorists are advised to reduce their speed and watch for crews working in the area. To avoid delays, motorists are advised to take alternate routes.

The lane closure allows the work to be completed properly and as safely as possible.
