The Honourable Siobhan Coady, Minister of Natural Resources, will receive the interim report from the Board of Commissioners of Public Utilities (PUB) on electricity rate management options related to the Muskrat Falls project, today (Friday, February 15). Minister Coady will publicly release the interim report on Tuesday, February 19.

In September 2018, the Provincial Government brought the PUB back into the Muskrat Falls Project to avail of their independence and expertise to effectively manage electricity rates. The PUB’s work will help inform future elements of mitigating the impact of Muskrat Falls, which are currently under development.

The PUB’s final report will be completed in January 2020.
