The Honourable Perry Trimper, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Environment, has announced the following events relative to Part 10 Environmental Assessment of the Environmental Protection Act.

UNDERTAKINGS RELEASED:

Springdale Forage Production Agriculture Bay                                (Reg. 2016)
Proponent: Spring Meadow Farm Inc. 

The project is released subject to the following conditions:

  • The Crown land application number 154070 in the Moose Pond area is to be reduced in size to 48 hectares. This is required to preserve significant aggregate resources. Please contact the Mines Branch, Department of Natural Resources at (709) 729-5748 for exact boundary coordinates.
  • The Crown land application number 154070 is near and up-gradient to an area with private drilled and dug wells. A 150 metre buffer must be maintained between the forage area and any properties with private groundwater supplies.
