The Honourable John Haggie, Minister of Health and Community Services, will bring greetings tomorrow (Friday, December 6) at the opening of School Sports NL Super Volley 2019, which is being hosted by Gander Collegiate. The event, which is part of School Sports NL’s 50th Anniversary celebrations, will commence at 2:00 p.m. in the Evangel Pentecostal Church Gym on Magee Road, Gander.
For the first time since 1993, and only the third time since the organization’s inception, School Sports NL is coordinating Super Volley. This volleyball tournament will be one of the largest provincial events coordinated by School Sports NL this year and will have over 1,000 players, coaches and supporters from throughout the province in attendance.
