Public Advisory: Venue Change for Dementia Care Plan Public Consultation Session in St. John’s

Due to overwhelming interest, the St. John’s venue for the November 14 public consultation session to help inform the development of a Dementia Care Action Plan, has been changed to accommodate more participants.

The session will now be held at the Comfort Inn, 106 Airport Road, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 pm.

The Dementia Care Action Plan will help individuals and families living with dementia, support caregivers, and enhance professional development opportunities for health care providers. Areas of focus will be prevention, early diagnosis, stigma reduction, and care and support.
