The Honourable John Haggie, Minister of Health and Community Services, will speak at an opioid dependence treatment provincial conference hosted by Eastern Health tomorrow (Thursday, November 7) at 12:30 p.m.

The conference takes place at the Hampton Inn and Suites, 411 Stavanger Drive, St. John’s.

The objective of the conference is to promote increased awareness and access to opioid treatment and harm reduction. It is designed to be a discussion about opportunities for further collaboration and partnership between the Provincial Government, the regional health authorities, health care professionals, and community partners.
