Minister Osborne Acknowledges Auditor General’s 2019 Annual Report on the Audit of Financial Statements

The Auditor General today released her 2019 Report on the Audit of the Province’s Financial Statements. The report provides an unqualified (“clean”) audit opinion on the Consolidated Summary Financial Statements for the year ending March 31, 2019, and provides comments on government’s approach to fiscal management over the short- and long-term.

The Honourable Tom Osborne, Minister of Finance and President of Treasury Board, acknowledges the work of the Auditor General in compiling this report, and appreciates the continued oversight and sound counsel her office provides.
