The Honourable Gerry Byrne, Minister of Fisheries and Land Resources, will officially open the Agriculture Expo tomorrow (Friday, September 27). The event takes place at the Corner Brook Civic Centre at 6:45 p.m.

The annual Agriculture Expo, hosted by the Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of Agriculture and funded with support from the Canadian Agriculture Partnership, is a showcase of the province’s agriculture and agrifoods industry featuring exhibits, locally grown produce, cooking demonstrations, a petting farm and chick hatchery. The Expo will run from September 27-29.
