The Honourable Gerry Byrne, Minister of Fisheries and Land Resources, and the Honourable Bernard Davis, Minister of Advanced Education, Skills and Labour, will attend Rooting for Health events tomorrow (Thursday, March 28).

Minister Byrne will be at Sacred Heart Elementary School, Allen’s Road, Curling, at 8:30 a.m.

Minster Davis will be at St. Andrews Elementary, 141 University Avenue, St. John’s, at 8:00 a.m.

Rooting for Health is a partnership between Kids Eat Smart Foundation Newfoundland and Labrador, Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of Agriculture, Agriculture in the Classroom Program, the School Milk Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador, and the Egg Farmers of Newfoundland and Labrador. This annual event aims to help school aged children in our province recognize the relationship between farming, food and health.
