The Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, and the Honourable Lisa Dempster, Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development, will present the Annual Seniors of Distinction Awards tomorrow (Tuesday, October 1) at 12:30 p.m. The event will be held at the Holiday Inn, 180 Portugal Cove Road, St. John’s.

Derek Bennett, Parliamentary Secretary for Children, Seniors and Social Development will serve as emcee for the event.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Seniors of Distinction Awards recognize and celebrate the contributions, achievements and diversity of seniors throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
