The Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will participate in a ground-breaking ceremony to mark the start of construction on the new acute care hospital in Corner Brook tomorrow (Friday, August 16).

Premier Ball will be joined by the Honourable Gerry Byrne, Minister of Fisheries and Land Resources and MHA for Corner Brook, Cynthia Davis, CEO of Western Health, and representatives of the Corner Brook Health Partnership.

The ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m. at the construction site of the new hospital, near the intersection of Lewin Parkway and Wheelers Road.
