Media Advisory: Premier Ball to Officially Open the Labrador Winter Games and Participate in Announcement Related to Labrador Wellness Centre

The Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will be in Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Sunday, March 17, to officially open the 2019 Labrador Winter Games. The opening ceremonies will be held at the E.J. Broomfield Memorial Arena beginning at 7:00 p.m. and will include the lighting of the games torch.

Premier Ball will be joined by the Honourable Lisa Dempster, Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development and MHA for Cartwright – L’Anse au Clair; the Honourable Graham Letto, MHA for Labrador West.; the Honourable Perry Trimper, MHA for Lake Melville; and Randy Edmunds, MHA for Torngat Mountains.

On Monday, March 18 Premier Ball will participate in an announcement related to the Labrador Wellness Centre with Yvonne Jones, MP for Labrador, and members of the Happy Valley-Goose Bay Town Council. The event will take place at the Happy Valley-Goose Bay Town Hall, Hamilton River Road, at 2:00 p.m.
