On Sunday, January 27, under the authority of Section 153(1) of the Elections Act, 1991, the Official Addition of the Votes was conducted at the Topsail – Paradise Returning Office. The Official Addition of the Votes is a procedure whereby the voting tallies from by-election night are reviewed.
