Advance Polls will be held tomorrow (Thursday, January 17) and again on Saturday, January 19, for the Topsail – Paradise by-election.

Eligible electors can vote at either Octagon Pond Elementary School (Paradise) or Lodge Conception Masonic Hall (Chamberlains). The polls will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on both days.

Electors who received yellow Voter Information Cards in the mail are encouraged to bring them to the polls. The cards contain personalized details that should make the voting process more efficient for both electors and poll staff.

In order to be eligible to vote, an elector must be at least 18 years of age, a Canadian citizen, a resident of Newfoundland and Labrador and a resident of the district of Topsail – Paradise.
