The Honourable Lisa Dempster, Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development, will celebrate Canadian Library Month and attend the launch of ‘Community Assets Enhancement: Seniors and NL Public Libraries’ on Tuesday, October 15. The event will take place at the Labrador South Library, Lawrence D. O’Brien Town Centre, 11 Branch Road, L’Anse au Loup, beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Seniors and NL Public Libraries is a partnership between Seniors NL, the Newfoundland and Labrador 50+ Federation and Newfoundland and Labrador Public Libraries, designed to support involvement the community to reduce loneliness and isolation among older adults.
