Derek Bennett, Parliamentary Secretary for Children, Seniors and Social Development, will bring greetings at the launch of Kids Eat Smart Week on Monday, September 30. The launch takes place at East Point Elementary School, 14 Middleton Street, St. John’s, beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Kids Eat Smart Foundation Newfoundland and Labrador supports the education, health, and well-being of school age children in the province through nutrition programs run by volunteers at schools and community centers. The Foundation provides over 31,000 healthy meals to school aged children in Newfoundland and Labrador every school day.
