The Honourable Bernard Davis, Minister of Advanced Education, Skills and Labour, today announced applications are now being accepted for this year’s Job Creation Partnerships (JCP) program.

The JCP program is funded through the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Labour Market Development Agreement and supports projects that provide individuals eligible for Employment Insurance with opportunities to improve their employability through work experience. These projects benefit participants and their communities.

For more information or to submit an application, please visit www.aesl.gov.nl.ca/lmda/jcp.html. The deadline for applications is July 31, 2019.

In 2018-19, more than 1,300 individuals participated in the program through projects delivered by over 250 organizations.

This initiative delivers on commitments in The Way Forward to strengthen the province’s economic foundation.
