The Honourable Steve Crocker, Minister of Transportation and Works, will make an announcement on the future of the ferry services across the Strait of Belle Isle and to northern Labrador tomorrow (Friday, September 7).

The event will take place at the Labrador North Chamber of Commerce, 6 Hillcrest Avenue, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, beginning at 9:00 a.m. A technical briefing for media will be provided at 8:30 a.m.

Minister Crocker will be joined by the Honourable Lisa Dempster, Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development and MHA for Cartwright – L’Anse au Clair; the Honourable Perry Trimper, MHA for Lake Melville; Yvonne Jones, MP for Labrador; Sterling Peyton, President of the Labrador North Chamber of Commerce; and Peter Woodward, President and CEO, Labrador Marine Inc.
