The Honourable Christopher Mitchelmore, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Industry, Innovation, will join Ken Kavanagh, President of the Newfoundland-Labrador Federation of Co-operatives, to sign a proclamation to mark October 14 to October 20 as Co-op Week across Newfoundland and Labrador and October 18 to be International Credit Union Day. The event will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 15, at the Public Service Credit Union, 403 Empire Ave, St. John’s.

These important days are in recognition of the significant role this business sector plays in the economic and social development of communities across Newfoundland and Labrador.
