Media Advisory: Minister Haggie and Parliamentary Secretary Browne to Bring Greetings at Events Launching MADD’s Project Red Ribbon Campaign

The Honourable John Haggie, Minister of Health and Community Services and Mark Browne, Parliamentary Secretary for Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation will attend separate Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) provincial Project Red Ribbon campaign launches tomorrow and Saturday.

On Friday, November 16 Minister Haggie will attend an event at the Gander Fire Hall, 85 Raynham Avenue, Gander beginning at 2:00 p.m.

On Saturday, November 17, Parliamentary Secretary Browne will participate in an event at Calvary Pentecostal Church, 814 Ville Marie Drive, Creston North, Marystown beginning at 2:00 p.m.

The Project Red Ribbon campaign is Mothers Against Drunk Driving’s longest running public awareness campaign. MADD Canada’s iconic red ribbon symbolizes the importance of always driving sober and honours the innocent victims of impaired driving.
