Bernard Davis, Parliamentary Secretary for Service NL, will participate in the flag-raising and provincial kick-off of North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH) Week. The event will take place in St. John’s on Monday, May 7, at 12:00 p.m. in the lobby of East Block, Confederation Building.

Members of the public are welcome to attend and can access East Block through the main entrance at the front of the building or the northeast entrance at the rear.

NAOSH Week is celebrated every year at the beginning of May throughout Canada, the United States and Mexico. Its goal is to raise awareness on the importance of preventing injury and illness in the workplace, at home and in the community.
