The Honourable Eddie Joyce, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Environment, has announced the following events relative to Part 10 Environmental Assessment of the Environmental Protection Act.
UNDERTAKING REGISTERED:
Lark Harbour Multipurpose Trail Extension (Reg.
1954)
Proponent: Lark Harbour Trail Committee Inc.
The proponent is proposing to add an additional 12 kilometres of trail to the existing Lark Harbour Multipurpose Trail. The extension will start at Riley’s Brook (Wild Cove Brook) and continue south to Serpentine River (Cold River). The trail will be four metres wide and require three steam crossings. Construction is expected to occur from June to November 2018.
The undertaking was registered on April 3, 2018; the deadline for public comments is May 9, 2018; and the minister’s decision is due by May 18, 2018.

Argentia Access Road Industrial Composting Facility
(Reg.1838)
Proponent: Metro Environmental Ltd.
The deadline for the minister’s decision has been extended to April 20, 2018.
