The Honourable Andrew Parsons, Minister of Justice and Public Safety and Attorney General, will be joined by Diana Gibbons, Assistant Superintendent, Her Majesty’s Penitentiary, for the opening of the Wellness Garden at Her Majesty’s Penitentiary tomorrow (Thursday, May 10). Members of the media are invited to join Minister Parsons for a tour of the woodworking shop at 12:30 p.m. followed by the opening of the garden at 1:00 p.m.

This event is part of Corrections Week, which this year is recognized May 6-12. The week, themed ‘Serving with Excellence,’ acknowledges the contribution of correctional staff in promoting rehabilitation and making communities safe.
