The Public Accounts Committee will conduct a public hearing on December 18, 2018, at 9:30 a.m. The hearing will take place in the House of Assembly Chamber.

The committee will review with officials of the English School District the findings of the Report of the Auditor General entitled Management of the Procurement of Goods and Services, Newfoundland and Labrador English School District.

The committee will question the Chief Executive Officer and the Chair of the Board of Trustees on action taken in response to the findings of the report; the board’s long-term plans to restore credibility in financial activities; and the internal controls and processes in place to prevent a recurrence of the deficiencies noted.
