The Honourable Perry Trimper, Speaker of the House of Assembly, advises that at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Monday, March 12, His Honour, the Honourable Frank F. Fagan, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, will prorogue the second session of the Forty-Eighth General Assembly.

The Lieutenant Governor will read the Speech from the Throne at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, to officially open the third session.
