Media Advisory: Parliamentary Secretary Haley to Attend Hacking Health Hackathon

Carol Ann Haley, Parliamentary Secretary for Health and Community Services, will bring greetings at the Hacking Health St. John’s Hackathon 2018 today (Friday, March 9).

The event will take place in room 1M102, Medical Education Centre, Faculty of Medicine, Memorial University, Clinch Crescent, St. John ’s. The event begins with a pitch clinic at 5:30 p.m. and a formal welcome at 7:00 p.m.

Hacking Health is an international movement designed to improve health care through diverse partnerships. Today, there are active chapters in more than 60 cities in 15 countries. The St. John’s Hackathon, running from March 9 to 11 at Memorial University, is a weekend-long event designed to break down barriers to health innovation.
