The Honourable Gerry Byrne, Minister of Fisheries and Land Resources, will provide an update on the status of forest fire season on Tuesday, June 26, at Fisheries and Land Resources Headquarters at 4 Herald Avenue in Corner Brook at 11:30 a.m.

Minister Byrne and departmental fire suppression staff will provide a technical briefing, including a tour of the Provincial Fire Centre and demonstration of the technology used to assess fire hazards.
