Derrick Bragg, Parliamentary Secretary for Fisheries and Land Resources, will address attendees at the annual Fisherperson’s Service held as part of Fisherperson’s Weekend, March 24 and 25. The service will be held Sunday, March 25, at 6:30 p.m. at the Pentecostal Tabernacle, Port de Grave.

Fisherperson’s Weekend recognizes the importance of the fishing industry and marks the start of the fishing season for Port de Grave. Events also include a fishermen’s breakfast on Saturday, March 24, at 9:00 a.m., Gospel Concert on March 24 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday Morning Worship on March 25 at 11:00 a.m.
