Premier Ball Announces Senior Public Service Appointment

The Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, today announced the appointment of Glenn Bruce as Associate Secretary to Cabinet (Communications), in the Communications and Public Engagement Branch. Mr. Bruce’s appointment is effective immediately.

Mr. Bruce has 25 years of experience in the field of public relations and communications. His most recent role has been Senior Communications Officer with the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, a position he has held since 2004.

Biographical Information
Glenn Bruce

Glenn Bruce’s government communications career has spanned 25 years with experience at the Provincial and Federal Government levels. He began his career with the Provincial Government working for more than 10 years as the Director of Communications in multiple departments, including Health and Community Services, Municipal Affairs, Finance and Treasury Board. For the past 14 years, he has worked with the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency as a Senior Communications Officer.

Mr. Bruce graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University with a Bachelor of Public Relations degree.
