The Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will speak at the official opening of the Placentia Bay Industrial Showcase tomorrow (Wednesday, September 19) at 9:00 a.m. at the Unity PARC Arena on Blockhouse Road, Placentia. Premier Ball will be joined by the Honourable Sherry Gambin-Walsh, Minister of Service NL and MHA for Placentia – St. Mary’s.

Tomorrow evening (Wednesday, September 19), Mark Browne, Parliamentary Secretary for Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation and MHA for Placentia West – Bellevue will speak at the Business Awards Gala starting at 7:00 p.m., also at the PARC Arena.

Presented by the Placentia Chamber of Commerce, the Placentia Bay Industrial Showcase highlights work in facilitating industrial development in the Placentia Bay region. Discussions will focus on emerging world class opportunities available to chamber members and other stakeholders in these developments.
