Media Advisory: Premier Ball to Provide Updates on Central Newfoundland Healthcare Infrastructure

The Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will provide updates on healthcare infrastructure for central Newfoundland tomorrow (Tuesday, June 5).

Premier Ball will be joined by the Honourable John Haggie, Minister of Health and Community Services; the Honourable Al Hawkins, Minister of Advanced Education, Skills and Labour and MHA for Grand Falls-Windsor-Buchans; Jerry Dean, MHA for Exploits; and Joanne Pelley, Central Health Executive Director of Acute Care Facilities and Chief of Nursing.

In Grand Falls-Windsor, the update will take place on Scott Avenue, between the former Abitibi Consolidated mill and Valley Road, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

In Botwood, the update will take place in the dining room of the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre, 25 Twomey Drive, beginning at 12:00 p.m.

In Gander, the update will take place in the back parking lot of the College of the North Atlantic, 1 Magee Road, beginning at 3:00 p.m.
