The Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will host the 14^th Annual Premier’s Athletic Awards tomorrow (Tuesday, May 15) at 4:00 p.m., at the Holiday Inn, Portugal Cove Road, St. John’s. The Honourable Lisa Dempster, Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development, will serve as Master of Ceremonies. The Premier’s Athletic Awards recognize athletic excellence of Newfoundlanders and Labradorians. Financial support is provided to selected athletes to help with costs incurred through training and competition.
