Media Advisory: Premier Ball and Minister Hawkins to Acknowledge Milestone in Core Science Facility Project

The Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will participate in an event to celebrate the last structural steel to be placed in the construction of Memorial University’s Core Science Facility. Premier Ball will be joined by the Honourable Al Hawkins, Minister of Advanced Education, Skills and Labour, and officials of Memorial University. The event will take place tomorrow (Tuesday, April 17) at 10:30 a.m. at The Landing, 3rd Floor, Smallwood University Centre, Arctic Avenue, St. John’s campus, Memorial University. The Provincial Government is contributing $25.1 million toward the project.
