The Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will make a major announcement to support mental health and addictions in the province tomorrow (Thursday, March 29).

A technical briefing for media will take place in St. John’s at the Health Sciences Centre in the Dr. Richard Fagan Theatre Room 1M101 at 11:00 a.m. The announcement will follow at 12:00 p.m.

Premier Ball will be joined by the Honourable John Haggie, Minister of Health and Community Services; Les O’Reilly, Chair of Eastern Health’s Board of Trustees; Paula Corcoran-Jacobs, Executive Director of CHANNAL and who is also a person with lived experience; and Louise Bradley, President and CEO, Mental Health Commission of Canada.
