Launched in 2017, the Cabinet Committee on Jobs has partnered with industry associations, business owners, researchers, academics and community groups to create development plans for the provincial aquaculture, agriculture, and technology sectors. Each plan includes ambitious targets for creating new economic activity and jobs in Newfoundland and Labrador.

The Cabinet Committee on Jobs is one of a number of economic initiatives included in The Way Forward vision, which outlines the Provincial Government’s plan to improve efficiency, strengthen the economy, and achieve better services and outcomes for residents.
