Eight Recipients Named to Order of Newfoundland and Labrador

The following is being distributed at the request of His Honour, the Honourable Frank F. Fagan, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador:


Eight people will be invested into the Order of Newfoundland and Labrador at a ceremony at Government House later this month.

The Order of Newfoundland and Labrador recognizes individuals who have demonstrated excellence and achievement in any field of endeavour benefiting in an outstanding manner the province and its residents. This year’s recipients are:

  • Terence S. Goodyear
  • Dr. Falah B. Maroun
  • Robert Mellin
  • Wayne Miller
  • Kathleen Pratt LeGrow
  • Katarina Mirabelle Roxon
  • Marie E. Ryan
  • Frederick David Smallwood

Since the first appointments in 2004, 90 recipients have been named to the Order of Newfoundland and Labrador. The 11th investiture ceremony will be held on January 31.
