Please be advised that the event referenced below in an advisory that was issued on November 15 has now been cancelled.

Derek Bennett, Parliamentary Secretary for Children, Seniors and Social Development, will bring greetings at the Canadian Boccia Championships tomorrow (Friday, November 16). The event takes place at the Newfoundland and Labrador Sports Centre, 90 Crosbie Road, St. John’s, beginning at 4:30 p.m. This event had originally been scheduled for November 15 but had to be postponed due to weather.

As the provincial partner of Boccia Canada, Easter Seals NL is hosting the 2018 Canadian Boccia Championships in St. John’s, November 14 – 18, 2018. The Canadian Championships provides an opportunity for boccia athletes from across the country to compete for the title of Canadian Champion. The 2018 Championships in St. John’s marks the 25th anniversary of the National Boccia competition.
