The Honourable Lisa Dempster, Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development, will bring greetings at the Hope in the City Breakfast tomorrow (Wednesday, November 14). The event will take place at the Capital Hotel, 208 Kenmount Road, St. John’s, beginning at 7:30 a.m. Minister Dempster will be joined by Derek Bennett, Parliamentary Secretary for Children, Seniors and Social Development.

The Salvation Army’s Hope in the City Breakfast brings together community leaders and members of the faith community to ring in the holiday season and recognize and celebrate the importance and impact of philanthropy in the community. It also marks the beginning of the annual Christmas Kettle Campaign.
