The Honourable Lisa Dempster, Minister Responsible for the Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation, will join Nick Whalen, Member of Parliament for St. John’s East, on behalf of the Honourable Jean-Yves Duclos, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development, for the official opening of Garrison Place, a new 10-unit supportive housing development, tomorrow (Friday, September 14). The event takes place at the John Howard Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, Provincial Headquarters, 342 Pennywell Road, St. John’s, at 2:00 p.m. 

The John Howard Society of Newfoundland and Labrador is a community-based volunteer organization which provides supportive programs and affordable housing to individuals experiencing or most at risk of homelessness.
