The Honourable Al Hawkins, Minister of Advanced Education, Skills and Labour, will lay a wreath on behalf of the Provincial Government at the Fisheries and Marine Institute’s Remembrance Day Ceremony tomorrow (Friday, November 9) at 11:00 a.m.

The ceremony will take place at the Merchant Navy Memorial outside the east side of the Marine Institute, 155 Ridge Road, St. John’s. The Fisheries and Marine Institute holds an annual Remembrance Day ceremony for veterans, students, employees, alumni and members of the public to commemorate the men and women who served in the armed, navy and merchant navy forces in the world wars.
