The Honourable Al Hawkins, Minister of Advanced Education, Skills and Labour, will attend the Rabbittown Learners Program 30thAnniversary Open House tomorrow (Wednesday, May 2) at 11:30 a.m. The celebration is taking place at 21 Merrymeeting Road in St. John’s.
The Rabbittown Learners Program provides Basic Literacy Level 1 (Adult Basic Education) training so adults can upgrade reading and writing skills reflective of working conditions and supportive family living, and to provide support and motivation to the adult learner with the purpose of helping them achieve personal goals.
