Public Advisory: Consultations on Development of Adult Literacy Action Plan Extended

The deadline to provide input on the development of an Adult Literacy Action Plan has been extended to Friday, May 4.

Regional in-person consultation sessions were held during March in Corner Brook, St. John’s, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, and Grand Falls-Windsor.

Addressing low literacy rates is a priority for government, as identified in the minister’s mandate letter, and aligns with the vision outlined in The Way Forward: A Vision for Sustainability and Growth in Newfoundland and Labrador
