The Honourable Al Hawkins, Minister of Advanced Education, Skills and Labour, today announced two appointments to College of the North Atlantic’s Board of Governors. Madison Greening and Ian Gordon are appointed as student representatives to the Board of Governors. They were nominated by College of the North Atlantic’s Student Union.
The Board of Governors is CNA’s corporate body responsible for overseeing, managing and directing the college including its financial operations and academic programming. The board comprises up to 18 members, including two representatives nominated by College of the North Atlantic’s Student Union.

Madison Greening
Madison Greening is a student in the Fish and Wildlife Technician program at College of the North Atlantic. Recognition includes awards for service as a cadet, including the William Hoskins Memorial Award for Most Outstanding Cadet. Work experience includes Farm and Market Tour Guide in Clarenville. Volunteer experience includes helping the local fire department and Firettes.
Ian Gordon
Ian Gordon studies Business Management at College of the North Atlantic. Volunteer experience includes serving as Vice President of the Student Representative Council at the Grand Falls-Windsor campus and extensive work with Our Lady Help of Christians Parish. Work experience includes Developmental Service Worker in Petrolia, Ontario, helping clients complete daily activities and integrate into society.
