Provincial Government Issues Public Tender for Next Phase of Mobile Central High Extension

The Provincial Government has issued a public tender for the next phase of construction on the Mobile Central High extension project.

The tender includes design and construction of the new structure, which will be a two-storey, 1,500 square metre extension featuring nine classrooms, a computer room, washrooms and other required amenities such as an elevator and additional parking.

The tender is scheduled to close on November 3, 2017, with the project to be completed in late 2018.

The first phase of the Mobile High Extension project is scheduled to be completed by November 30 of this year and represents a Provincial Government investment of approximately $237,000 for the relocation of water lines and a transformer on the school property.

This initiative is the direct result of commitments outlined in The Way Forward: A Multi-Year Plan for Infrastructure Investments. The plan outlines commitments to education, health, buildings and roads, and municipal infrastructure through a total investment of nearly $3 billion.
