Details:

  • Municipal offices in the City of St. John’s that normally open at 9:00 a.m. will open at 9:30 a.m. Other municipal services, such as recreation centres, will open at regular hours.
  • Mount Pearl City Hall, which normally opens at 8:00 a.m. will open at 9:30 a.m. Other municipal services, such as recreation centres, will open at regular hours.
  • All Provincial Government offices in the St. John’s/Mount Pearl area, including the Motor Registration Division, will open at 10:00 a.m.
  • Schools in the Newfoundland and Labrador English School District and Conseil scolaire francophone provincial de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador will open at regular times.

The Provincial Government is asking all residents to be cautious and patient during tomorrow’s commute, obey traffic laws and treat all intersections that do not have functioning traffic lights as a four-way-stop.
