Media Advisory: Parliamentary Secretary Haley to Speak at Lighting Ceremony for Childhood Cancer
Carol Anne Haley, Parliamentary Secretary for Health and Community Services, will speak at the Candlelighters Association of Newfoundland and Labrador’s ceremony to recognize September as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month tonight (Thursday, September 7).
The Provincial Government will join with the association to light Confederation Building gold from September 7 to 17. The ceremony will take place in the main lobby of East Block, Confederation Building at 7:30 p.m.
The Candlelighters Association of Newfoundland and Labrador provides support, encouragement and hope to all children and their families affected by cancer.
