Media Advisory: Ministers Haggie and Kirby to Discuss Community Addictions Prevention and Mental Health Promotion Grants
The Honourable John Haggie, Minister of Health and Community Services, will join students and staff at Lakewood Academy in Glenwood tomorrow (Friday, February 24) to discuss their plans for Empowerment Week. This week of activities is being planned with the aid of funding through the Community Addictions Prevention and Mental Health Promotion Grants program from the Department of Health and Community Services.
Minister Haggie will be joined by the Honourable Dale Kirby, Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development, as well as school district officials. A media availability will take place after the Empowerment Week discussion, at approximately 11:45 a.m. at the school.
