Temporary Gas Tax Reduced by Four Cents Effective December 1

Starting tomorrow (Friday, December 1) residents of the province will see a four cent per litre reduction in the temporary gas tax. In Budget 2017, the Provincial Government committed to reducing the temporary gas tax by 75 per cent by the end of the calendar year.

This temporary tax was previously reduced by 8.5 cents on June 1, 2017, for a total reduction of 12.5 cents in 2017.
